These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 22Service FZ-LLC, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("22Service", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of the 22Play mobile application, the website at 22plays.app, and related services (together, the "Services").

By downloading, installing or using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who can use 22Play

22Play is suitable for players of all ages. Players under the age of majority where they live must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on their behalf and is responsible for their use of the Services.
Players under 13 (or a higher age where local law requires) use 22Play in Kid Mode, as described in our Children's Privacy & Age Policy.
You must give accurate information when asked for your age. Giving a false age to get around Kid Mode is a breach of these Terms.
You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.

2. Licence to use the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use 22Play on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.

You may not:

copy, modify, translate, decompile, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
rent, sell, sublicense or otherwise commercially exploit the Services;
remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other notices;
use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients, or any software that interferes with the Services or gives an unfair advantage;
exploit bugs or errors, or interfere with servers, networks or other players' connections;
try to access parts of the Services, data or accounts you are not authorised to access.

3. Player profiles

You do not need an account to play offline. For online play you choose a nickname and avatar. Your nickname must not:

be offensive, sexual, hateful, threatening or misleading;
impersonate another person, 22Service or our staff;
include personal information such as a real full name, phone number, address or social media handle;
infringe anyone else's rights.

We may change or remove any nickname or avatar that breaks these rules.

4. Online play and player conduct

When you play online you agree to treat other players with respect. You must not:

harass, bully, threaten, insult or discriminate against other players;
send sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise inappropriate content;
ask other players, especially children, for personal information, photos or to move a conversation outside 22Play;
spam, advertise, or share links;
deliberately disconnect, stall or throw matches to disrupt others;
cheat, collude, or share room codes publicly to disrupt private games;
break any applicable law.

You can mute, block or report any player from the match screen. We review reports and may take action including warnings, chat restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from online play. Where we believe a child is at risk or a crime may have been committed, we may report it to the relevant authorities.

5. Chat and user content

In standard mode, players may send chat messages during online matches. In Kid Mode, players can only send ready-made messages.

You are responsible for anything you send ("User Content"). You keep any rights you have in your User Content, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, display, store and review it as needed to operate, moderate and improve the Services.

We may use automated filters and human review to detect and remove content that breaks these Terms, but we do not review all content and are not responsible for content sent by other players.

6. Purchases and virtual items

22Play is free to download and play. We may offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking cosmetic items.

All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are subject to their terms and refund policies. Refund requests must be made to the store you purchased from.
Virtual items and in-game currency have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or sold outside the Services.
You receive a limited licence to use virtual items within the Services; you do not own them.
Parents can control purchases using the parental controls provided by Apple and Google. We recommend turning on purchase approval for children's devices.
Prices are shown in the store before you confirm any purchase and may include applicable taxes.

7. Advertising

The Services may display ads from third parties. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services they promote. How ads use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including the app, game designs, artwork, graphics, sounds, music, text, software, and the 22Play name and logo, are owned by 22Service or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.

Many games in 22Play are based on traditional games that are in the public domain. Our implementation, artwork and code remain our property.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep 22Play running, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove games and features, and online features may be unavailable during maintenance or because of network issues. We may stop offering the Services, or any part of them, at any time.

Updates may be required to keep using the app or to play online.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the app. You can ask us to delete your online data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Services, without notice where reasonable, if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect other players or the Services. Sections 5, 6 (virtual items have no cash value), 8, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you as a consumer.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

22Service will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or progress, arising from or related to the Services;
our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Services in breach of these Terms or the law, you agree to compensate 22Service for any claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) that result, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Apple App Store additional terms

If you downloaded 22Play from the Apple App Store:

These Terms are between you and 22Service only, not Apple. 22Service, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.
Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement or discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Your use of the app must also comply with the App Store's Usage Rules. Where 22Play is distributed through Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

If you are a consumer living in a country whose laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, or that give you mandatory protections, nothing in this section removes those rights.

16. General

Changes to these Terms: we may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.
Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Children's Privacy & Age Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
Severability: if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver: if we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up.
Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Language: these Terms may be translated into Arabic, French and Spanish. If there is a conflict between versions, the English version prevails, unless local law requires otherwise.
